
Matthew A. Scott, DC
Dr. Matthew A. Scott is a graduate from Parker College of Chiropractic. He is Board Certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed through the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has completed a post graduate course in Clinical Neurology and holds a certification in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology. Dr. Scott is an avid sports enthusiast and is currently studying to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Scott is a "Rock Doc" utilizing rock tape to aide in performance and stabililzation to help athleltes maintain proper form and perform at an optimal level. Originally from Lubbock, he attended Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry. During his coursework in chiropractic school, Dr. Scott completed two more Bachelor of Science degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness. Dr. Scott maintains a working knowledge in extremities, vertebral decompression, cold laser, nutrition and rehabilitation. Dr. Scott’s extensive knowledge of the human body continues to lead to an aspiration of constantly improving his overall knowledge and skills in order to continually provide state of the art care to all patients.
Dr. Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, baseball, football, camping and traveling. He is active in his church and the Texas Chiropractic Association. He currently resides in McKinney, TX with his wife, Eleanor, who teaches in Allen ISD. Eleanor and Dr. Scott have recently welcomed their newest addition to the family, their first son Hunter!
